I find this funny. I went and did the "what is my religious philosophy" test on my husband's blog and I came out with a stronger belief then he did. He’s an agnostic who: "You're not sure if God exists, and you don't care. For you, there's no true way to figure out the divine. You rather focus on what you can control - your own life. And you tend to resent when others "sell" religion to you." and I'm a believer who: "You believe in God and your chosen religion. Whether you're Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or Hindu.. Your convictions are strong and unwavering. You think your religion is the one true way, for everyone." However the whole "my religion is the one true way" is not correct, I don't believe that. My religion is just the one I think is right for me. The part that I think is funny though is that when John and I first met he wanted to be an Anglican priest and I was the one searching for answers!
All last week I was away at cadet training on Vancouver Island and John's been home alone. It's been a very hard week for him as we've been kicked out of the house and my father's been attacking him at every turn. Apparently yesterday John went gaming and when he got home my father had been waiting for him to that if we don't pay him for food he's not buying, he's going to lock us out of the house. He would have locked it with our cats and stuff still inside. I told John to call the cops if that happens. It's gotten so bad that I want to bring John back home to Kamloops. Anyway I'm heading home in the next few hours, and I'll get to speak to my father and say WTF are you thinking!
