Hey everyone. Once again i got that not-so-subtle, crack-across-the-back-of-the-head, to say that I've been ignoring everyone! Everyone can thank "Frau" for that reminder! Things have been...um...interesting these last few weeks. John loves his job so far, but not much to tell there as it's exactly like his job was at Convergy's, but with better pay and more understanding managers. I however got a job that I also love! There's where the change comes in! I get paid to play with puppies and kitties all day! Yay me! And yay for the cats. (mom works in a pet store now so she comes home with really cool stuff)
But there's a down side to this story right now. I'm not allowed into the animal room, for the same reason that I'm typing this all one handed. I broke my left hand on Friday. All I did was tuck my shirt into my jeans. Well after a few tears and a few hours in the waiting room, I learned that I have a cyst in the bone attached to my ring finger. By tucking in my shirt I added enough pressure to snap it like a dead twig. I almost lost my stomach when I saw the x ray! Now I have to have a CT scan done on the 16 then wait till the orthopedic surgeon calls me back for an appointment. Until then I'm stuck with a brace on my hand, because even moving my finger re breaks everything. At least the weather has been good!
My father and step-mother are moving, and offering us a suite to ourselves. One that we can decorate ourselves, too. It's a bit further out of town, but closer to where I work.
