It's interesting how small this world is. While I was at the hospital on Friday, dealing with very sore hand, John and I made a new friend! She was one of the clerks helping me, and she asked us if we had plans for the weekend. If we had any plans they had just been cancled and we joked about that. Eventually we asked what her plans were. Being that this was a friday night, weekend plans are a common topic. She mentioned that she had just taken time off so she had to work. She had just come back from this small town in BC named Clinton, where she had spent the long weekend "camping" with a bunch of friends! Well John and I both had lightbulbs flashing above our heads and told her that we knew exactly what she was talking about. Turns out that she knows all of our friends there, too. We can't find the card with her SCA name but she said that she's with a pirate house that had just taken over a bridge and rebuilt it this year. The name of the house escapes us, but I'll get it again for future postings.
