Cable
Wednesday, April 25, 2007

We got cable today. John has a GREAT discount through work. I feel like a little girl in a candy shop. All the colours and flavors. All the choices and varieties! It's all so sweet and sugary, it'll give me cavities if I have something! And still there's nothing I really want. AHHHRRRGGGG

...oh wait...there's still the "adult channels"!

Night Elf Druid

f-ne.jpgdruid.jpg

Night Elves are the sexiest of the bunch. They're the hot flower children of Warcraft: at one with nature, and dancing all the while.

As a druid, you tend to be relaxed and accepting - though if there is something you don't want to do, then you won't do it - simple as that. You're an easygoing and versatile person.

I'm Back...
Sunday, April 01, 2007

...and I live! Which is not something I was expecting to do. I went on these courses with the flu and a head / chest cold! Everything went well and I'm almost sad to be home again...almost. It was a very intense set of courses. The first was "Range Safety Officer - Air Rifle" So now I can run an air rifle range. The next was my Military Occupation Course (Land). We had regular force specialists coming in to teach us, and even they were saying "Holy Shit". I'd go into more detail about it all, but there was so much done that I wouldn't know where to start!

It was great to get back home last night and to be pleasantly surprised by my husband who stayed home from Shaw and worked his ass off to clean the apartment. I love you, Babe!

This picture was taken on our first day in the bush. Needless to say, after day five we weren't looking or smelling as fresh! FYI, when I talk about "this other officer from my corps" or "Cam", he's in the middle row kneeling on the far left.

I won't be able to make it to Ladies Night tomorrow. Payment for having the other girls cover my shifts is that now I have to cover a few of theirs.

My next course is going to be April 20-22 where I will be qualifying as a Range Safety Officer - Small Bore. Where upon I will be able to run a range for the .22 and other firearms classified as small bore rifles! Next year I will begin training as an expidition officer, so I can take the cadets kayaking, canoeing, rapelling and teach them winter survival. In the mean time, however, our regions head office plans to hire me for upcoming expiditions as a supervisory officer and so I can get some experience in the field!
