My passionate rantings

John and I went for a walk last night in the "snow storm" - we must have been on the edge of it or something because all we got was a few lousy inches of light powder over night - when we started talking about what we were going to put in our next blogs. I was going to name mine "Snow storm?" Blogging is a bit of an addiction to me right now. It's the only way we have with keeping in touch with everyone and seeing what's going on in other's lives. People call us about as often as we call them. That' will change when we get back and don't have to worry about long distance charges.

On another note, I finally went out and did it. I bought winter boots! Not those pansy-ass things that John likes or the ones that suicidal women on the coast wear. You know the ones that break your ankle just by walking past a snowflake? These are real winter boots! Plow through a snow bank without knowing it was there, keep your feet warm and dry in a "snow storm" and kick your ass winter boots. And they look cool too! These ones would also work on the coast they're not so big that they'd look out of place but would still keep my feet dry when I walked through the winter puddles there.

Physio on my hand is fun! Please note the extreme sarcasm. Some days I have almost full range of my finger, others - like today- I have almost nothing, and it's very stiff. But my therapist says that it could take up to two years for it heal properly. I have another appointment tonight, that should help with the stiffness. I hope.
