It's been a while since the last time I've posted, so I thought an update was in order. However there's not much to update. Life is boring. Wake up, go to work, come home, play with cats, go to bed. Somewhere in there I eat. On my days off (which are normally different from John's days off) I'm lost. John and I live a ten minute hwy drive from anything. John takes the car to work, and I don't have my license, so I can't go anywhere. I could walk the block to pick up my mail, but how many times can you do that during the day before it gets boring?
Oh, John and I are finally going to foster ferrets from the Alberta rescue society! Anakin will finally have something to play with, that will pay back. The other two cats normally spit at him and run away, or dribble his head into the floor.
I go to my surgeon on Friday to see how my hand is doing. I'm crossing my fingers that I can have my splint taken off and I can start physio. Hopefully then John will stop calling me "The Claw". - Damn him -
Side note: my splint is shaped so that my ring and baby fingers are held at a 90 degree angle from my hand.
