My passionate rantings

I spent all week looking forward to gaming night, but it ended up being a bad night for me. John has to wear business clothes to work, and because he goes straight to gaming from work he's usually dress well. This week John asked if I could do the same. So I spent a lot of time thinking about how I could dress nicely but not too nicely. I put two hours in to my hair and make-up, put on a corset over a t-shirt and jeans (see profile pic), because I enjoy seeing the effect I have on my husband. All I got however was: "Hey, nice tit's!" (which I felt degraded the effort I had put in) and John catching me in the kitchen to whisper that he liked the way I look. I felt very stupid for even putting in an effort at all.

Then we spent the night uselessly chasing after a half-halfling, and running around in circles gathering information and going back to the boat. By about half way through the night I was ready to leave, because there was very little roll play for me. At the end of the night my neutral good character found a neutral evil creature that is supposed to become her companion. However, I have to keep rolling "handle animal" checks to make sure it doesn't eat her or the rest of the party! I don't' think so! John's afraid that last night turned me off to gaming again, but I promised him that I'd give it another few weeks.
